The SMART Incident Management System has changed the way major incidents are responded to world over. Colin graduated Coventry University with a BSc in Disaster Engineering and Management and has published various academic papers on multiple casualty incidents. He has worked as an offshore oil medic and served eight years with the Royal Army Medical Corp, three of these with UK Special Forces and saw active service in the first Gulf War. He is also a keen expedition medic and has traversed the Greenland Iceca. __________________________________________________________________ Presentation 1 Title: Pre-hospital Primary and Secondary Triage This class will cover the background and practical application of both primary and secondary triage decisions when responding to a multiple casualty scene. The class is an enjoyable mix of instructor lead discussions and practical exercises. This hands on class will allow student to test their skills in primary triage and use them in the context of scene management.
