No exceptions. Refunds If you are unable to attend and wish a refund, a written notice of cancellation must be sent to the WMEMS office postmarked on or before October 10, 2014. A $25.00 cancellation fee will be charged. No refunds will be granted after October 10, 2014. WMEMS will not provide refunds to participants whose behavior causes the hotel or WMEMS to ask that they leave the conference. Cancellation If necessary, WMEMS reserves the right to cancel the conference. In the event that the conference is cancelled, registration fees will be refunded. Substitutions The Massachusetts EMS Conference Committee reserves the right to substitute speakers and/or topics if circumstances warrant it. Exhibitor/Vendor Hall Included in the price of registration is access to the Exhibit/Vendor hall. Please refer to the Conference Brochure for Exhibitor/Vendor reception times. Registration Desk The Registration Desk is located in front of the conference rooms and will remain open while the conference tracks are in session. Should you arrive late and the registration desk is vacant, please locate a conference committee member for registration assistance. Conference Materials To receive your conference materials and name badge, please present your name at the Registration Desk on the day of the conference. Registration is required for each day attended. Name Badges All conference registrants will receive a name badge. Although not required, it is recommended that name badges be worn during all training sessions or other conference events. Meals & Breaks Included in the price of registration is a daily continental breakfast and beverage bar situated in the designated area(s) of the convention center. Lunches are also included in the registration fee. Please refer to the Conference Brochure for specific breakfast, lunch and break times. Click here for alternative Pioneer Valley restaurants & lounges Continuing Education Applications for continuing education credit hours are submitted to the Massachusetts EMS office for all EMT levels. All attendees interested in receiving continuing education credit hours MUST SIGN the individual roster for each program attended. It is the attendee’s responsibility to sign the roster at the end of each session, and must be present for the entire session to be awarded credit hours.
No credit hours can be awarded after the rosters have been submitted to the Mass OEMS office. Parking The MassMutual Center doesn’t own or operate any local parking facilities. However, there are several parking lots and garages in the area. Convention Center Parking Garage This garage is located directly across from the MassMutual Center on Falcons Way. Per request of the MassMutual Center, parking for all events is only $7 (pricing subject to change). For more information, please call (413) 732-3120. Columbus Avenue – South Garage This garage is located on Columbus Avenue just two blocks from the MassMutual Center. Media recording of any kind is not permitted without written authorization of the speaker and the conference committee. Disclaimer: The Massachusetts EMS Conference Committee has the exclusive right to include photographic, video and other visual portrayals of conference attendees in any medium for the purpose of trade, advertising, sales, publicity or otherwise, without compensation to the conference attendee, and all rights shall be the conference committee’s sole property, free from any claims by conference attendees or any person deriving any rights or interest from said conference attendees. Registration Options Please remember: A limited number of participants are accepted into each workshop. Each workshop is the same curriculum on Friday and Saturday. Please only register for one of the two sessions offered. For example, if you select the MCI Workshop on Friday please do not select it for Saturday. |
