WELCOME

Welcome to Village Ambulance Service's new on-line ambulance scheduling suite. The new system allows VAS to deliver a more standardized and efficient service to its users and patients. This centralized web scheduling system can be accessed at any time of day, and is the preferred method for our healthcare partners to schedule a non-emergency/Interfacility ambulance. For all emergencies, please dial 9-1-1.

The scheduling suite provides a number of benefits to its users. Not only can you schedule a non-emergency/interfacility ambulance for a patient, but you can also cancel a preexisiting booking if necessary.

The preferred scheduling cut off time is 4:00 p.m. on the day prior to travel. For scheduling an 'on-the-day' or immediate non-emergency/interfacility transport, please call our transport scheduling line at 413-458-9831.    

  

Confirming the Non-emergency/Interfacility Ambulance Booking

Once VAS receives the on-line scheduling request, a VAS representative will call the facility no later than 8:00 a.m. on the day of the transport to confirm the request was received by our office. If the transport pickup time is scheduled earlier than 8:00 a.m., a VAS representative will call the facility the night before to confirm the request was received by our office.

How will I access the online booking system?

To access the On-Line Ambulance Transport Scheduling Suite you will need to be provided with a username and password . This login information is generic and can be used by designated staff or full departments.

How to Cancel a Transport Booking  

To cancel an already scheduled ambulance transport, simply log in to the On-Line Ambulance Transport Scheduling Suite (tab below), click on the Cancel Transport tab, complete the required information, then click Submit.     

  

Technical Support/Book a Transport by Phone

For technical support or to schedule a non-emergency/interfacility transport by phone due to technical difficulties, please call our office at 413-458-9831. A VAS representative will schedule the transport, as well as put you in contact with a VAS advisor to address any technical issue.
